This moment made my heart melt. I am an academically driven person by nature, but being a mom has really made me step back and reevaluate what I want to teach my kids. First and foremost, I want them to be kind and compassionate individuals. I’m sure the rest will come with time, but I need to live by example in the hopes that they can grow up to be loving citizens of the world.
